Overhead Lighting and Side Lighting
Lighting is an essential part of workstation ergonomics. Well designed lighting aids industrial safety, comfort and productivity. Treston lighting units are specifically designed to fulfil this function.
Particular applications need both sidelights and an overhead light. This system provides the best possible illumination. The fluorescent lights have quick, flicker-free electronic light ignition and vibrationless operation. The light output is unaffected by fluctuations in voltage.
The lighting units are suitable for use with moving machinery giving asymmetric lighting with minimal shadow. Flicker free tubes ensure that rotating objects will not appear to be stationary, a common optical effect when standard fluorescent tubes are used.
Both the sidelight and the overhead lighting units have a silver grey anodized aluminium frame with a matte anti-dazzle screen. The angle of light is easily adjustable.
Magnifying Task Lighting
The newest member of Treston's lighting family, the ZL3 is a LED magnifying task light.
The new technology LED light creates the same amount of bright, flicker free light as a comparative fluorescent light but saves up to 75% electricity. The light has a 3 dioptre magnifying glass and an easy to use multi joint arm to be connected to a bench top.
Together with a large magnifying glass, six LED-lights and independent left/right dimming functionality, this magnifying task light gives superb control, allowing the operator to to set just the right light level according to the work at hand and the surrounding environment. The task light has a last-setting memory and the original settings can be reset. Environmentally friendly and long life LEDs do not flicker or react to bumps and vibrations. |
